The Foundations of Ministry and Mission with Children and Families
We have identified four areas that we believe should be foundational to your ministry and mission practices.

For a copy of the booklet that outlines these foundations please email the office.

You can also read more about the foundations under BCFM on this website.

Our Story

Recognising the importance of family within community life, Baptist churches have programmes aimed at encouraging and supporting children and their families.

BCFM exists to inspire, equip and support churches so these ministries can be effective in bringing positive change to the church and their local communities.

Here are some of the services we offer to Baptist Churches:

  • Consultancy / Advisory.

  • Advocacy for children and families.

  • Training - for pastors, leaders and teams.

  • Safety First - We provide training, advice and resources and work with you to develop your Safety Management Systems.

  • Resources - We have a range of print and digital resources including curricula available for loan.

  • Community -  We offer clusters that focus on children's and family ministry.

  • Networking - We network with our counterparts in related para-church organisations and other denominations.

  • Best Practice - We provide awareness and critique of current and trending ideas.

  • Communications - Keep connected with what's happening with Connect, Enews and the NZ Baptist magazines.
